Accessed using a standard web browser, as a member of the Mauve Supply Chain suite of products, Stock Controller provides authorised users with centralised access to comprehensive details of your retail outlets, stock, order processing, and powerful reporting.
Being centralised gives the added advantage that all authorised users have access to key business information from anywhere, on any device – desktop, laptop or palmtop computer.
Core Funcionality
Stock Controller has four core areas of functionality – Contact Manager, Stock Catalog, Order Processing Centre, Reporting Centre.
The Contact Manager is used to store details of all of your retail outlets, including address and delivery details, together with people at the outlet who are authorised to access and use Stock Controller.
The Stock Catalog allows you to categorise all of your stock into key, relevant areas, together with the ability to import and export stock as required. The powerful administrative control allows you to set minimum stock levels, stock alerts, availability, codes and order quantities. Coupled with realtime stock levels, Stock Controller provides you with instant, detailed access to all items held at your warehouse and distribution centre.
Using the Order Processing Centre, placing and processing orders could not be easier and Stock Controller can be configured in one or all of the following ways:

Orders can be placed by head office on behalf of stores

Designated managers can place orders on behalf of stores

Individual store managers can place orders, as long as access has been provided
Once logged in, it is simply a case of selecting which items and required and adding them to the order, with users having full visibility of current stock levels. Once all of the required items are added to the order, it is simply a case of confirming the delivery address, required delivery date and dispatch method. The order is then assigned a tracking number, so that it can be easily located at any point.
Once the order has been placed, Stock Controller sends automatic notification of the order to the picking, packing and dispatch centre, or warehouse, so that the order can be fulfilled.
When completed, the quantities dispatched are entered against the quantities ordered, together with the date and time of dispatch, the method of shipment and, if applicable, the courier’s consignment number.
Where a courier, such as UPS, FedEx, Business Post or City Link, has been used, the integrated realtime proof of delivery service comes into its own. Users do not have to waste valuable time tracking down deliveries – it is simply a case of clicking on the order tracking icon next to the order and Stock Controller does all of the work required to automatically retrieve the proof of delivery directly from the courier’s web site.
